Pro-rope scrapers

The system is simply run by two winches; one pulls the rope onto the drum whilst the other pulls off. This is a quiet and simple system, has low running costs and is very easy to operate.

1. Control panel

The Storth Control Panel allows complete flexibility to this scraper system.

The Panel has 24 automatic sequences available to set as per individual needs. The park position can be programmed to be anywhere in the passage.

2. Winch Units

There are two Storth Winch units which are available. Both utilize the same tried and trusted running components for reliability and longevity. A pedestal mounted version which keeps the unit away from debris and possible damage from or injury to animals. This has a galvanized pedestal for improved corrosion resistance. Our floor mounted unit is fitted away from livestock area and so is more easily accessible for maintenance.

3. Pro – Rope Scraper Blades

Storth Pro Rope scraper blades are manufactured to a wide range of sizes to suit individual passage widths. Manufactured with 8 mm steel and a galvanized main beam to give a long life cycle.

4. Corner Pulley Boxes

Corner pulley boxes are manufactured from 6 mm steel before being galvanized providing maximum protection to the inner pulley. These pulleys are cast from high grade steel with a hardened inner bush, allowing smooth rotation on the center grease pin.

Hydraulic scrapers

1. Power units

Designed and manufactured in house using high quality components. Single pump unit suitable for operating one passage at a time with a single oil pump. The more powerful tandem oil pump is suitable for longer passages or operating two passages at the same time and run at the same speed. All Storth power units can operate up to 6 passages.

2. Central track systems

The 120mm x 6mm bottom track bridges any cracks, gaps or unevenness in the floor. This allows the Top Track which is fitted over it to slide better, resulting in reduced wear and so giving a longer service life.

3. Offset scraper blades

Storth also offer Offset Scraper Blades which are commonly used in feed passage to prevent the cow from standing on the track whilst feeding.

Chain scrapers

Typically built to Storth’s robust engineering standards, their solid construction and attention to animal safety in their design means that Chain Scraper Systems are highly suited to beef cattle, pig buildings and sheds with uneven floors.
